Vermicelli (around 400g)
milk (1 cup)
cream cheese (100 g)
Preheat oven at baking mode for 180C for 10 min
Baking mode at 180 C for 20 min
First melt butter by double boiling method. Mix melted butter with vermicelli to get a uniform mixture. Take a baking tray and place butter paper over it. Tightly pack the tray a layer of vermicelli.
Take 2tbsp all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp cornflour, 2 tsp sugar,1 cup milk, and mix well without lumps. Heat in low flame continuously till it starts to thicken. Add cream cheese to the thickened mixture. Remove from the flame as soon as it gets mixed uniformly.
Spread a layer of this prepared mixture immediately over the vermicelli layer; otherwise, it gets hardened quickly. Add another final coat of the vermicelli mixture. Bake at 180 C for 20 min the oven. Remove from the oven as soon as the baking is over.
All 11/4 water and 1 cup sugar and boil at low flame and stir till sugar melts completely and starts thickening. Pour completely over the baked kunafa in the baking tray. After it has come to room temperature, refrigerate well.
Cut into pieces and enjoy homemade kunafa!!!!!
